Registering a channel

January 31st, 2010 admin No comments

You can register your own channel for users to chat and enjoy. Firstly you need to register your nick with nickserv.

Command:

/msg NickServ register password email

Replacing password with a secure password and email with a valid email address. We wont spam you!

Now go ahead and join the channel you want to register. For example if you wanted to register #uk you would type /join #uk
Command:

/join #channel

Now, register the channel with chanserv.
Command:

/msg chanserv register password description

Replacing password with a secure password and description with a channel description.
Now the channel is yours, you may assign a botserv bot to that channel to enable fantasy commands.
Command:

/bs assign channel Infinity

Replacing channel with your registered channel. You may want to request a custom botserv bot in #help.
Thanks,
The Infinity team.
